SHS Staffing Solutions offers many different opportunities within the local warehouses that we staff. We have everything from entry level general labor positions to higher level skilled positions operating machinery and equipment. These positions can be short term, long term or even temp to hire depending on our clients needs.
SHS Staffing Solutions skill matches an employee’s previous skills and experiences to client orders to ensure the best fit for the job. Our data base also allows us to search by skills again aiding us in finding placements that have all qualifications that our clients are looking for. We also have testing resources that helps us identify an employee’s strengths and areas of weakness prior to placement at a job site. Testing can also be closely matched to any permanent placement testing the client has allowing the employee to be comfortable with testing process. SHS has successfully helped one site go from 50% pass rate to 95% with practice testing and pre-testing counseling.
Safety is key; SHS Staffing Solutions has a safety program that promotes employee awareness at the job sites. Every new hire watches a video that reviews safe work habits and is tested on information as part of their SHS’s hiring process. We also make sure that employees have any necessary safety equipment required to perform job. Earplugs, safety glasses and vests when required by client are given to employees prior to working.
SHS also has an onsite division that has partnerships with several local companies mostly offering temp to hire positions. SHS has onsite representation at these sites. Our staff helps the employees from the time of their initial placement all the way to the point of hire, coaching them all along the way. The SHS staff is there to assist the employee to be as successful as possible. Staff members are also onsite to help employees address any problems or issues they may encounter during their employment. These services aid not only the employee but the client as well.
